It must be at the beginning of this century when KING BOLDEN, The negro hairdresser of New-Orleans,
pushed, on his plunger, the first stammering marks of Jazz. Hundred years later, Le Mardi-Gras Jazz Band invite you in a festive celebration, at the same time
faithfull and inventive. Their music is cheerfull, cool, vigorous and at the end always very
colourfull.
The repertoire of the sextet composed of passionnate musicians is made up between others of air
of fanfare as well as of languorous blues, each of different types beign livened up hilarious talking
(collective improvistaions). |
